Scaterbrae by zuvelioke Scaterbrae by zuvelioke
'Scatebrae' means 'waterfalls' in Latin (in this case).

These are one of first waterfalls I have drawn ever and I can already see the possible errors in this painting. Nevertheless, constructive criticism is always welcome.

Oil paint, 4h.

I think it looks pretty!
almost as though the sky is actually transforming into water and flowing in waterfalls down.
perhaps a deer in the background or some bird or dragonfly might have been added (in bright colors or toned down colors, depending if you want to break the composition or keep it).

Thank you for suggestions, I am taking them into account for the next time. A deer on dragonfly would really fit here.

I think I have seen a surrealistic drawing where sky is truly transforming into water and flowing down in dynamic cascades. The idea of such transformation seems peculiar itself. As if it was permanent connection between earth and sky.

ideas like that are sometimes used as puzzle images.

I love the composition with those two waterfalls - one on top and one on the bottom. The water is really well-drawn. I think that the lower water could be a little darker (as the reflections of the rocks) like the higher one but it's a detail :) Great work, keep it up! :)

I have the same opinion about darker water. But don't have spirits for doing a few strokes and then waiting a week for them to dry properly. Maybe later :D Thanks for the opinion

Osam, mažas atrodo kaip foto. Kai padidini, tai gražiai atrodo tie medžiai. Tokie kaip pūkuoti.
